• account information — an email address only when you choose to register or connect an email account.
• profile information — a display name and optional public leaderboard nickname.
• gameplay information — puzzle results, solve times, streaks, level progress, stars and achievements.
• technical information — information processed by hosting and analytics services when you use the website.

how it is used

we use this information to provide puzzles, save progress, maintain streaks and achievements, show public leaderboards, protect account access, and operate and improve xpuzzle. leaderboard nicknames and puzzle results may be visible to other players.

local storage

the website uses browser local storage for the guest device identifier, puzzle timers and tutorial preferences. these values help keep your progress and do not contain your password.

service providers

we use supabase for authentication and database hosting, vercel for website and api hosting, and vercel analytics for website performance and usage measurement. these providers process information on our behalf under their own terms and privacy policies.

your choices

we do not sell personal information. you may request access to, correction of or deletion of your information by emailing us. you may clear this site's local storage in your browser; doing so may disconnect the browser from its guest account.
